reformer essentials
Our Essentials class is open to everyone. This class focuses on fundamental Pilates principles, functional movement and refining your technique. Don’t be fooled, our Essentials class isn’t EASY, however, we offer regressions and progressions, so it’s a class suitable for all levels. We encourage clients in their third trimester to join our dedicated Prenatal classes, but will always be welcome in Essentials.

Are you new to Reformer Pilates? Start your practice in our introductory reformer class. We will explore the foundations and core principles of Pilates so you can begin to move and play with confidence. Perfect if you are brand new to having a movement practice or want to go back to basics.

Our Elevate class is a step up from Essentials class. Perfect if you have previous experience using the reformer or want to try something more dynamic. These classes focus on technique enhancement, layering progressions and increasing strength by building resistance with more complex movements.

A class focused on overall strength and muscular engagement. Expect your 50 minutes packed with functional movement exercises, drawing from contemporary Pilates to target major muscle groups. You’ll utilise super heavy or extremely light springs in this class to activate muscles differently to build strength and stability. This class isn’t about speed, but rather about control and form.

Our Cardio class is Scout’s performance-based cardio offering. It is designed to feel energetic, empowering, and deliberately athletic, while remaining inclusive and achievable. The class builds cardiovascular fitness through structured, repeatable cardio blocks in a circuit-style format that allow clients to safely push intensity, build confidence, and experience momentum through movement.
Strength, core, and stability blocks are intentionally programmed as active recovery to balance intensity, support longevity, and ensure the class remains a true full-body workout. The result is a class that feels dynamic, purposeful, and confidence-building.

Our reformer stretch is a 50-minute class designed to slow you down focusing on releasing, lengthening and restoring the body. Centering on stretches and poses to create space and mobility. This is the perfect class to add into your weekly schedule to complement our other class offerings.

Want an all round mat workout that embraces the slow burn? Our Signature classes will take you through the Pilates repertoire in a flowing, mindful way. These classes utilise a variety of props to improve muscular strength, flexibility and coordination, designed to target the whole body. Don’t be fooled, this class will hit in all the right spots and leave you wanting more!

Welcome to our dynamic, circuit based mat class. This class is designed to elevate your heart rate, test your endurance and improve your cardiovascular health. Cycle your way through a series of targeted exercises that are fun, functional and just the right amount of challenge to leave you glistening inside and out. Grab your sweat towel on the way in – this one is sure to burn, but take it at your pace.

Our Strength class is a dynamic, functional movement class, focusing on higher loads of resistance and body weight exercises to build your muscle mass and bone density. This class focuses on deep core stability and big muscle group activation. Expect to pick up those weights or work with resistance bands as you move through variations of Pilates exercises. Leave feeling surprised by what your body can do.

hatha steady
A slower, steadier Hatha practice designed for every practitioner. This 60-minute class emphasises mindful pacing, intentional alignment, and a calmer, more introspective experience. With a grounded blend of breathwork, simple transitions, and stillness, students are guided into deeper presence and embodied awareness.
Each teacher brings their own philosophical and energetic lens, creating a practice that supports clarity, balance, and a more connected state of mind.

vinyasa flow
This 60-minute class is designed for students looking to deepen their physical practice through energised, mindful movement. Expect fluid transitions, purposeful holds, and intelligent sequencing that gradually builds toward a peak pose.
Each class includes a brief core or conditioning element to support strength and stability. A playful, workshop-style approach invites exploration, curiosity, and growth. Expect a class weaved with yogic principles to enrich the practice and deepen awareness.
This class is recommended for those who have attended at least 3-5 Hatha Steady classes.

Our Yin class focuses on postures that are held passively between 2-5 minutes, sometimes using props to place gentle pressure on the joints, deeply nourish and stretch the fascia and improve flexibility. Yin Yoga is suitable for all levels and helps to increase flexibility and regulate your body’s energy flow; complimenting a more dynamic yoga practice or lifestyle.
This class takes place in a gently heated room, so you feel warm and cosy the whole class.
Not sure whether to do Restorative Yoga or Yin Yoga? The key to their difference is in their intention. Wanna stretch? Do Yin. Wanna rest? Do Restorative.

A calming and deeply restful experience using fully supported postures held for 5-15 minutes, gentle breathwork, and long, effortless holds. This class encourages nervous-system down regulation, spaciousness, and profound comfort.
Our Restorative Yoga is suitable for all levels and is the perfect compliment to a more dynamic yoga practice or lifestyle. It is the antidote to stress and aids in nourishing tired, sore muscles and has a strong therapeutic theme.

This 60 minute breathwork session will guide you through a number of different breathwork techniques to support a mindful wellness practice, great as a complementary to any movement practice.

A fast-paced Pilates workout that uses the ballet barre and small props to deliver a dynamic full-body burn. Think isometric holds, heart rate spikes, and a glistening sweat all over. Our Barre classes support posture, flexibility, balance, and overall fitness.

prenatal & postpartum pilates/yoga
Our dedicated prenatal & postpartum classes are available in a range of modalities for reformer, mat Pilates and yoga. Our experienced team guide a class suited specifically to the needs of pregnant clients so you feel supported, strengthened and educated about your body.
Suitable for:
parents & cubs
Our class for new parents (with cubs up to 1 year). These classes give mums, dads and family members the opportunity to move in a welcoming environment. Birth parents will also be given the support and instruction they need to redevelop core strength, pelvic stability, posture and flexibility. It’s also a great reason to get out of the house, meet some parents and maybe have a babychino after. We offer mat based small prop, reformer and yoga classes for parents + cubs (we recommend doing a mixture of all three). For mat based classes, we recommend bringing a capsule or blanket for tummy time. Please have medical clearance to exercise before joining these classes.

Join us for a small group session (3 or less) in our Studio Equipment space. Featuring a Cadillac, Wunda Chair and Barrel, these tailored sessions focus on building strength, alignment, mobility and proprioception to empower you to move with confidence. This personalised setting enables you to explore the studio equipment with the guidance of an experienced Pilates instructor.

Join Mandi Rose for an exploration of the advanced reformer repertoire where we slow things down, break complex exercises apart, and rebuild them with clarity, strength, and confidence.
It’s my first class, what do I need to know?
Our Marrickville Studio is conveniently located on Enmore Rd, opposite Enmore Park. Please arrive at least ten minutes early for your first class so you can check in with our front desk team and learn about our facilities. Free parking in available on the surrounding streets, just remember to check parking signs for time limits. You can also access the studio via bus or walking from nearby train stations including Newtown, St Peters or Sydenham. Please wear comfortable activewear for class, and if doing reformer or studio equipment to wear grippy socks. If you don’t have any, we sell these at the studio. We provide everything you need for class including mats, props, a water fountain and sweat towels. If you wish to shower after class we have bath towels for hire.
I’m booked for a Studio Equipment session. What do I need to know?
We’re excited for you to join us for our Studio Equipment sessions. These sessions focus on the cadillac, barrel and wunda chair, and are tailored for the movers in the room. Please wear grippy socks and let your instructor know if you have anything specific that session you want to focus on. They’ll be there to provide tailored exercises for you.
