Alongside our movement studios, Redfern is home to our sauna, ice, and hot magnesium baths —a dedicated contrast therapy space to rest, restore, and reset. It’s everything your body needs, all under one roof.

Nestled in the heart of Sydney’s eclectic inner west, our Marrickville studio brings Scout’s inclusive energy to a vibrant, community-minded suburb. Marrickville is known for its creative spirit — from arts, music and galleries to cafés, multicultural eats and leafy green parks nearby.

Whether you have a regular practice or brand new, this studio is built for everyday movement, complete with reformers, mats, barre, studio equipment and a warm, relaxed atmosphere that’s connected to our dynamic local community.

Marrickville Studio

Our Redfern studio brings movement and recovery together in one of Sydney’s most vibrant, creative inner-city neighbourhoods — a place where cultural history, community and arts pulse through laneways, cafés and galleries.

Redfern is a full wellness hub, combining reformer, mat, barre and yoga classes, with sauna, ice bath, and hot magnesium bath facilities, ideal for post-class recovery, rest, and relaxation . It’s perfect for city-dwellers seeking balance, strength, and a little self-care in a thoughtfully designed, welcoming space.

Marrickville Studio

Located in the dynamic inner-west pocket of St Peters, this studio offers easy access and a friendly, down-to-earth vibe. With practical transport links, a laid-back residential-meets-urban community, and a mix of heritage and creative energy around the suburb, St Peters is a great home base for locals and visitors alike.

Our St Peters studio reflects that balance — a welcoming space for people of all fitness levels, offering reformer, mat, barre, hot  and yoga classes that fit smoothly into busy lives while staying true to the Scout ethos of accessible, fun, and functional movement.

A fast-paced Pilates workout that uses the ballet barre and small props to deliver a dynamic full-body burn. Our Barre classes support posture, flexibility, balance, and overall fitness.

Lucy Beaumont is the founder of Scout Studios, a Sydney-based movement community built on the belief that movement should feel inclusive, empowering, and genuinely enjoyable.

With a deep respect for functional, evidence-based practice, Lucy’s vision was simple: to make movement accessible as a regular, life-enhancing practice, while fostering a strong sense of connection and community. Scout Studios reflects this philosophy in every detail—from dynamic, thoughtfully programmed classes to welcoming, light-filled studios designed to feel like inner-city sanctuaries.

Lucy is passionate about creating spaces where all bodies feel welcome. At Scout, movement doesn’t discriminate—and neither does the community. All ages, genders, and fitness levels are encouraged to move, explore, and build strength in ways that feel supportive and sustainable.

Through Scout Studios, Lucy continues to shape a movement experience that is joyful, challenging, and grounded in care—helping people feel stronger, more mobile, and more connected, both to their bodies and to each other.

Bree Hemsley

My classes are all about intentional movement, strong foundations, and finding that balance between challenge and control. With qualifications in Yoga, Mat Pilates, Barre & Prenatal/Postpartum, I focus on creating a fun and energising experience on the mat in all styles, that challenges you while remaining accessible. I have a passion for helping clients achieve more than what they thought possible in their movement practice, guiding them with confidence and purpose. Expect a grounded, motivating vibe, detail-driven cueing, and sequences that build heat and strength over time.

My classes focus on intentional movement, breath awareness, and creating space to reconnect with yourself. With training in over 700hrs in Sivananda Yoga, Sri Vidya, and Pranayama, I bring a calm and steady approach that supports both the physical body and the nervous system. I have a strong focus on breathwork, meditation, and subtle energetics, guiding you toward a practice that feels personal and sustainable. Expect a grounding, soothing experience with thoughtful sequencing and clear, supportive cueing.

I lead marketing and content at Scout, working behind the scenes to bring our brand and community to life. As a Pilates lover, I’m all about creating thoughtful, feel-good experiences that connect and inspire our incredible community!

Ellen Driscoll

I hold a Cert IV in Pilates Matwork & Reformer, and @theBarre programs (as well as a few others!). In a prior life I was a journalist and competitive ballroom dancer, so I love to combine my passion for communication with movement. My aim is for classes to be empowering and joyful – bringing a focus on play over perfection. Exploration, curiosity and repetition are what help us learn and grow. I also make really bad jokes – you’re welcome! I’m a mat/barre lover through and through – expect my barre classes to have a bit of a boogie and my mat classes to remix the classics.

Georgie Hare

I’m the studio lead at Scout Marrickville, as well as a professional dancer, artist and yoga teacher. With ocean inspired movement and a great playlist, I encourage clients to move intuitively in my class, focusing on autonomy and respect for their bodies on and off the mat. Expect a space that encourages a practice of collective kindness and lack of judgement.

Kari Proctor - pilates instructor

Kari Proctor

I teach both Mat and Reformer Pilates, creating classes that meet you where you are while offering room to grow. My classes are known for a glute burn, but they get the whole body moving too. I love seeing clients gain confidence and that sense of achievement they can carry beyond the studio. My approach centres on movement that challenges, supports, and reconnects you with your body. The aim is for every class to leave you feeling energised, empowered, and moving with more ease, control, and confidence.

Trisha Hurckes

I teach a range of movement styles including reformer, mat pilates, and yoga. Offering a well-rounded balanced approach to training. My teaching style is strong yet approachable, focusing on alignment, mindful movement, and breathwork. I aim to create classes that feel both effective and enjoyable—expect great music, positive energy, and a supportive environment where you can challenge yourself while still having fun! As a mum, I have a special interest in pre- and postnatal training, and I love helping clients feel strong, confident, and connected to their bodies through every stage of life.
