Meet Diana!

Diana's classes are full of fun yet challenging moments, and she loves sharing the joy of her students' achievements. Oh, and she's got some yummy local recommendations too! Read on to find out more about our wonderful Diana.

How long have you been teaching at Scout?

I've been teaching at Scout for the last 5 years.

How would you describe your teaching style?

Quite fun and playful. I'd like everyone in the room to have a joyous time, where they can laugh and be really challenged at the same time.

What's your favourite class to teach at Scout?

My favourite class to teach at Scout is any vinyasa.

What's your favourite thing about teaching?

Probably seeing people accept themselves and find peace through the practice. I love hearing students share their new insights and new achievements - that makes my day, always.

What's a fun fact about you?

I like to do beginner ballet. I've been a beginner for the last six years, I think, and it's really fun to do something I'm really bad at.

What's your favourite local recommendation?

My favourite recommendations in Newtown are Miss Lilly's quiches and sausage rolls, and I really like the Comeco donuts - they're amazing.

What advice would you give to someone just starting yoga?

If you're just starting yoga, I'd recommend coming early to your class and talking to the teacher. The teachers are all great. They make you feel comfortable, they can tell you where to be in the studio, and speak to others - don't be shy.
